Great converter but missing one thing

I wasted hours trying to find a decent converter and stumbled upon this. I have only given it 4 out of 5 as i would like to see that when you import folders of files that it saves the output files in folders labelled the same as the original folders, ie. if a folder had 3 flders labelled One, Two and Three then in the output folder I would like the same folder structure made when saving to a new folder otherwise I can’t see the point of being able to convert a folder full of other folders and putting them all in one new folder. Hope that makes sense.

Sadly not great

I wanted to find a replacement for Max, now that all apps have to be 64 bit, & was hopeful about this. However, a couple of glaring flaws have become obvious. The first is that you have to specify an output location for the converted files. It would be *way* more straightforward to give the option of outputting them to the same directory as the original files. The second is more serious. On importing to music, it looks as though all the files I've converted from flac->alac have a fixed bitrate of 1411kbps. This should not be the case, and I'm not sure if there's some strange conversion going on, or it's just that the program isn't writing tags correctly, but either way, that has made me seek alternatives.

Since Catalina broke iTunes...

It used to be a pretty simple job to import audiobooks as MP3 files, and set the media type to audiobook. That's no longer an option. You have to covert everything to mp4 and impot it into the books app. FLAC MP3 solves that problem for you. Thank you AnyMP4. Apple breaks the Mac, and you help us get by.
